Some interesting things about the formation and development of  Lai Thieu: According to “Natural Geography of Binh Duong Province”, Lai Thieu pottery craft dates back to about 1850 of the 19th century and earlier with the Chinese population coming to settle in Binh Nham and Tan Thoi. At that time, many pottery kilns were built along the banks of Tan Thoi canal, making use of hillsides to make pottery kilns according to the principle of natural wind.
